Sen. Diane Feinstein of California believes that one man can take President Donald Trump down in 2020, and that man is…

…former VP Joe Biden.

According to Politico, Feinstein believes he has the necessary experience and ability to perform to put him in the White House and bring the Democrats back into power.

“Joe was chairman of the Judiciary [Committee] when he came to this place. I’ve watched him as vice president, I’ve seen him operate, I’ve seen him perform,” Feinstein said, according to Politico. “He brings a level of experience and seniority which I think is really important.”

Biden has yet to make any official announcements, but according to one report, the former VP is telling people in private that he’s going to do it. He’s perfectly poised to do it as well.

As it stands, Biden has topped the list of almost every Democrat 2020 poll with the exception of one where the usual second runner-up, Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, barely eked out a victory. In terms of polling, Biden has been seen beating Trump in terms of favorability since 2017.

How this will pan out as we get deeper into 2020 is anyone’s guess. With the Democrats leaning further and further into social justice territory, Biden being a white male may ruffle some feathers on the left. In fact, it’s already starting to happen with many in the Democrat party complaining that O’rourke, Biden, and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders are all too male and too white to qualify as viable for this new age of Democrat rule.

We may start to see Democrats attempt to wreck Biden’s momentum in favor of someone they consider more qualified based on race, sex, or both.

Until then, it appears that the old guard is sticking with the old guard.
