Trump Sends Message to Caravan: Turn Around

President Donald Trump sent a message directly to those in the migrant caravan containing thousands of members, with more being added every day.

Trump sent out a tweet on Twitter telling them to “turnaround” and apply to get into the country legally.

“To those in the Caravan, turnaround, we are not letting people into the United States illegally. Go back to your Country and if you want, apply for citizenship like millions of others are doing!” tweeted the President.

The caravan itself is still around 1,000 miles away from any U.S. border checkpoint, but will arrive soon, and just in time for midterm election season.

Around 800 U.S. soldiers will be dispatched by General James Mattis to the border to assist the 2,100 National Guard troops already stationed there with their logistical efforts, however, their orders for when the migrants actually arrive at the border are still unclear.

Much of the caravan is filled with migrants looking to enter the country from Honduras, which has an extremely high murder and poverty rate. Many fear that the growing caravan may contain criminal and even terrorist elements within it. According to a member of the caravan, there are indeed criminals within.
