Eric Holder Says He "Obviously" Didn't Intend to Promote Violence, but the Effects of Rhetoric Like His Say Differently

Former Attorney General under Barack Obama, Eric Holder, found himself in hot water the other day when he promoted the current Democratic strategy of engaging the right without civility.

“Michelle [Obama] always says, “When they go low, we go high,” Holder said. “No. When they go low, we kick them.”

This is a stance that has many concerned, given the current political climate and tendency for leftist mobs to engage in destruction and violence. Even Michelle Obama denounced Holder’s bastardization of her famous phrase.

Holder doesn’t seem to understand the effect his words may have on the unstable, and the die-hard leftists who currently busy themselves storming Supreme Courts, and attacking those who disagree with them. Holder took to Twitter to tell all those lambasting him for his words that they’re just using “fake outrage,” and that he’s “obviously not advocating violence.”

“Ok, stop the fake outrage,” Holder tweeted. “I’m obviously not advocating violence. (In fact, when I was AG violent crime in the US was historically low.) I’m saying Republicans are undermining our democracy and Democrats need to be tough, proud and stand up for the values we believe in – the end.”

I can easily take Holder at his word here, and I can completely understand that he just meant that Democrats need to get tough. The last thing I want to see happen to the right is an overdramatization of everything that comes out of the mouths of Democrats. I’ve rolled my eyes one too many times at the left for doing this to Republicans to be excused of that.

However, the fact that too many on the left are 100 percent willing and ready to take things to the next level is apparent. I’ve given numerous examples in a previous article about how far the left is willing to take things, be it taking over an entire street as a mob and threatening motorists, or attempting to shoot up a baseball field filled with Republican politicians.

Sen. Rand Paul, (R-Ky.) is so worried about how bad our political atmosphere is gotten that he’s scared someone will actually die soon, and likely a politician via assassination.

So, whether Holder means to encourage violence or not, it matters little. He’s still pressing the accelerator down. The outrage people are feeling over it isn’t fake. We’ve been watching the news, and contrary to the media’s best efforts, we see and hear what we see and hear with our own senses.

The leftist mob is currently a thing, and it’s best to leave encouragement, intended or no, on the cutting room floor of speeches.
