Sanders (Politely) Trolls Pelosi About Her Mega-Frown During Trump's SOTU Speech

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is in a really good mood, and why not? Her boss had a really good night, and her opponents beclowned themselves in their total hatred of them.

One perfect example is Nancy Pelosi’s clenching jaw and furrowed brows. The California Democrat looked more like an angry high school girl watching her rival be crowned homecoming queen, and held that look throughout the entirety of the address.

Sanders had some solid advice for Pelosi: Smile more.

“I think Nancy Pelosi looks like that all the time,” said Sanders. “I think she should smile a lot more often. I think the country would better for it.”

But Sanders said that Pelosi was more than just a bitter presence at the SOTU address, she was the very embodiment of how the Democrats feel.

“She seems to embody the kind of bitterness that belongs in the Democrat party right now,” said Sanders.

“They have to decide, do they love America more than they hate this President,” added Sanders.

Sanders words are spot on. As I wrote earlier, Democrats’ hatred of Trump caused them to stay planted in their seats even when they should have definitely risen to applaud certain things. Low black unemployment was something they felt no need to celebrate, or Trump’s efforts to combat MS-13, ISIS, etc.

While Pelosi is typically the poster child for doom and gloom, her utter contempt for Trump caused her and her party to show their ire at the success of the very people they claim to represent. It’s not a good look at all for the Democrats.

Maybe Pelosi, and the rest of the Democrats for that matter, should take Sanders’ advice. Applaud when the American people are doing well, lest we believe your only real care is about how much power you have.
