Hard leftist Hollywood actor best known for his portrayal as Marvel’s The Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, may have tweeted out the stupidest thing you’ll see this Holiday Season in the form of advising Israel to “show restraint” while tweeting out an article quoting the leader of the terrorist organization pledged to wipe Israel off the map.
On Thursday, Ruffalo responded to Trump’s decision to call Jerusalem the capital of Israel by posting an article. The article itself is a copy/paste of an Al Jazeera article that quoted Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, who said Trump should stop “this decision fully because this will usher in the beginning of a time of terrible transformations, not just on the Palestinian level but on the region as a whole.”
Funny enough, Al Jazeera did not mention that just earlier today, Haniyeh called for Palestinians to engage in an intifada against Israel in order to make Trump “regret” his decision.
I need not remind everyone — except Ruffalo apparently — that Hamas is a terrorist organization who has tasked itself with wiping Israel off the map. In fact, Hamas killed a lot of innocent Israelis in the early 2000’s until Israel beefed up security, and captured or killed many of its leaders.
Despite all of this, Ruffalo decided to inform Israel, not Hamas, to “show restraint” in the face of “protests.”
Isreal, please show restraint in the face of these protests. This is a terrible blow to any hope for peace or a life beyond apartheid for your neighbors. Please, all parties, use restraint. https://t.co/PO2PwnuAiD

First off, it’s spelled “Israel,” not “Isreal.”
While I’d like to blame Ruffalo’s tweet on Hollywood’s bubble of ignorance, Ruffalo has been known to be anti-Israel in the past, and even something suggesting support for Hamas.
In 2014, he lashed out against Israel over the bombing of a hospital in the Gaza Strip.
@joelakayaki @markruffalo Sorry, I thought blowing up Hospitals was something that all human beings could agree was off limits.

Ruffalo is referring to the Gaza’s Al-Wafa Hospital, which according to the Times of Israel was already empty of all patients and staff, and was being used by Hamas as a command and control center for their attacks against Israel.
Upon being confronted with the fact that Hamas uses people as human shields, Ruffalo responded by sticking up for Hamas, denying that anyone would do that.
@LaneShari1 Do you honestly think these people, these fellow human beings, would use their own children as shields? Use your heart.

Ruffalo later blamed the Israeli blockade in the Gaza strip for the deterioration of women’s rights on the strip, despite Islamic practices being well known for keeping women under an oppressive rule of law.

He also claimed Hamas was innocent of all charges in the kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teens.
Wow. It Turns Out Hamas Didn’t Kidnap and Kill the 3 Israeli Teens After All http://t.co/WpqHckSErT via @intelligencer

After it turned out that the charges were indeed true, Ruffalo took no effort to delete the offending tweet or apologize for the mistake.
Turns out the Hulk is somewhat sympathetic toward a terrorist organization known for killing innocent people and pledging to wipe an entire country off the map.
