David Duke is the gift that keeps on being racist.

The former grand wiz of the KKK took to Twitter on Thursday to state that he’s willing to be Trump’s VP, because Trump’s opposition is totally up for a Christmas in May.

This isn’t the first time Trump and Duke have made headlines together. You’ll recall back in February when Donald Trump failed to disavow David Duke and the KKK on national TV on CNN with Jake Tapper.

Trump attempted to write his inability to push away from the KKK…the KKK mind you, on a bad earpiece, but the name was repeated many times, and it’s hard to believe that he wouldn’t have heard the group, or the name David Duke, at least once or twice before giving an answer.

Trump has had a growing fanbase within the white nationalist/supremacist camps, and those who deny it need only say something negative about Trump’s racism on Twitter to find out just how active they are on his behalf. Even sites like the Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi site, refer to the man as “Glorious Leader.”

But, if we need any more proof that staying away from Trump’s camp is a smart idea, or another solid reason why #NeverTrump is what it is, here it is.

Also, there was the whole selecting of a white nationalist as a delegate thing.

If a campaign generates this much enthusiasm within the ultra-racist parts of America, then maybe that’s a campaign it’d be smart to stay away from. Besides, who wants to hang out around David Duke?
