Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarkey.
Our national press industry is in a full-blown energy cycle in covering the algae found in the D.C. Reflecting Pool. Iran war ending? Rampant fraud cases being charged? Antifa terrorists sentenced? A massive rape-gang scandal in Britain – any of those garnering interest from our media betters?
Nah. But with green water at the monument, that is drawing field reports from the networks, cable news, and other press outlets. Apparently, nothing else should concern us, according to the press.
We also look into some of the backroom drama involving the ABC Network and its daytime hen-fest show The View. The network has been insisting for years that this is to be considered a news program, something anyone with a familiarity with its content would have a laugh over. Our friends at Newsbusters had some help provided to the FCC in making the call on this front.
We also have some fun dysfunction on display, with a San Francisco news station managing to find the downside of crime going down, and Ana Navarro on CNN has something of a mental break while complaining about the algae in D.C. (Hint: It somehow involves Jeffrey Epstein.)
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.
Algae at the Reflecting Pool? Matt Viser is on the case!
Algae at the Reflecting Pool? Jonathan Karl is on the case!
Algae at the Reflecting Pool? CNN is on the case!
Algae at the Reflecting Pool? CBS News is on the case!
Algae at the Reflecting Pool? Jim Acosta is a head case about it!
On CNN, we get told that Obama did a better job of repairing the reflecting pool, because he used science! Too bad CNN previously reported how Obama’s science had failed.
Big news last night on CNN! I learned that for 1.6 billion years, algae was completely undefeated in warm stagnant pools...until Obama personally cured it with "science."

- As the FCC is contemplating a ruling on whether “The View” is a legitimate news program, the Newsbusters gang weighed in with evidence.
A local San Fran station finds that the drop in some crime is bad for business.
Ana Navarro short-circuits as she whiplashes from the algae “scandal” to the Epstein files within the confines of a single sentence.
Lunacy on CNN: Ana Navarro jumps from talking about algae in the Reflecting Pool to screaming about the Epstein files.

Seriously…
“There is a, a, an actual logical scientific reason why painting the, the pool blue has resulted in this growth of algae, and it is ridiculous that… pic.twitter.com/z4nlV4qTCa
