Lie-Able Sources Podcast: Tehran-able Tales on Iran; Twisted Truths From PolitiFact

Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarkey.

The Iranian conflict continues to throw the press into a knot of contradictions and conflicts, as the media needs to find any way to report on things negatively. They first tried to say that the military is not accomplishing anything and the conflict is a quagmire — after one month of action.

When a fighter jet went down, the desire to give victory to Iran was ramped up. The U.S. has had something like 12,000 successful strikes during hundreds of sorties, but sure, Iran is “winning.” The rescue of the second missing pilot was a heroic and proud moment, unless you are a member of the press. This had to be spun as a failed effort.

Then the announced temporary ceasefire had the media claiming that President Trump bowed to Iran’s list of demands, supposed proof of mission failure. This, too, was exposed as a farce, as CNN spun itself into a hole attempting to report on the developments. The press collectively were criticizing the ceasefire because…Trump saw an end to the hostilities that the same press had been calling for. It is amazing.

Then we look at how Politifact manipulates its search results with an example involving Jesse Watters of Fox News. A lengthy piece essentially found him to be accurate, but they do not assign a truth rating to his comments, so it is not tabulated as such in their system. They are rigging their own game.

Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.
