The press is also now in a precarious position as a result of the wholesale support they have lent to New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Any demise from the norms during his term will reflect on those who backed him and did not vet him properly as a candidate.
Also needing some appraisal is the current tempest on the right concerning Tucker Carlson, as he has been nuzzling Nick Fuentes and causing battle lines to be drawn in the conservative realm. I show how there are inverse parallels with the Never Trump movement, a result of overly focused energy placed on personalities.
