Lie-Able Sources Podcast: A Birthday Scandal & Talk Show Cancellation Has Media Enraged, and Embarrassed

Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarkey.

The past few days have delivered quite a load of hysteria in the press, and the media reactions say far more than the contents of the stories they are excited about. The one that has the media all atwitter is an alleged birthday note President Trump wrote to Jeffrey Epstein. There is no hard proof that this was legitimate; we did not see the actual note delivered via anonymous sourcing, nothing specific is contained therein, and even if proven valid, it was written over 20 years ago, before Epstein had been investigated for any wrongdoing.

Also getting some brief promotion was Fox News charged with its own “deceptively edited interview” with Donald Trump, the attempt made to blow this up to the levels of the Kamala Harris-”60 Minutes” editing scandal. The facts prove this was far from that controversy. Then there was Stephen Colbert announcing his stint on “The Late Show” was coming to an end. The press wailed this was an act of White House censorship while needing to ignore the show, not Colbert, was being shut down, all because it loses $40 million a year for the network.

Then we look at what might be the WORST example of journalism egotism as CBS News fixture Scott MacFarlane declared that on the day of the assassination attempt, it was HE who suffered PTSD, all because people in attendance looked at him. His claim is that the press was on the verge of being killed by rally attendees. This really is as bat-crap insane as it sounds. Then we close out with Peter Baker of the New York Times, who's upset that President Trump has used a crude label for the people who have crudely labeled him for years.

Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.
