The L.A. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots have become a truly conflicting reality for the press. On the one hand, this is a pet project of theirs in opposing deportations. But the violence and criminal behavior undermine the messaging as well as reflecting poorly on the Democrat leadership in California. Then there is the desire to broadcast all of the gripping images to draw an audience, but still they worry that any negative impact could aid President Trump. What is a news outlet to do?!
Well, when they face a fork in the road, they choose it. The press covers the riots and then complains about the coverage. It makes less sense when you actually peer into the coverage.

Turns out there is a Trump connection, as you may have guessed. We also look at an unhinged Florida weatherman finding a problem even worse than climate change, and Scott Pelley cannot seem to shut up about how he is being silenced.
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.
