Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarky.
For this episode, we strive to bring some diversity! No, we are not lapsing into DEI territory, but instead will take a look at some of the other news outlets, apart from the big guns – which have dropped in caliber of importance in recent years.
We begin with Jon Stewart and his streaming program on Apple+. Stew went to Hungary and was discussing the media complex in that nation and in what surely felt like a comedy routine he basically described the press in that country in nearly identical terms but called their industry outlandish and unacceptable.
Next is looking into a pair of local news outlets delivering entirely fractured reports on Republicans. One butchers the spending record of former governor Kristi Noem (now DHS secretary) in South Dakota, and in Utah, a Salt Lake City paper tries to slander a rising conservative star on social media using a few of the pathetic media tactics we frequently call out.
We also look at a military news outlet being taken to task brilliantly by VA Secretary Doug Collins, who calmly addresses the brazen move of reporting rumors as facts. Finally, we do cover some of the majors, looking at the way the press enjoys calling violent vandalism on Tesla dealerships a form of legitimate protest.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media malpractice and misinformation.
