The dissolving of the resolve from the media continues as the election approaches and the hopes of a Kamala Komeback depart. You know things have gotten bad when these activist souls revert to the very behavior they decry and are not even aware of it. This is a little too perfect. Many of the expected left-wing elements are in place, and they make for an ideal alignment of oblivious intolerance.

It has been rather enjoyable the past couple of weeks watching “Morning Joe.” For those who tune in to NASCAR races just to see the wrecks, this program has become must-see viewing. As the election approaches and the prospects of Kamala Harris are fading faster than a photo booth snapshot left on the dashboard in the sun, the distemper gang of this morning show have been unraveling at an impressive rate.
Joe Scarborough has plummeted even further from his already lowered level of cogency. Scar-Joe’s bride, Mika, had a therapy couch meltdown session that would have normal people hiding from the public for at least two weeks. Their panel of guests have been spewing Nazi and fascist references as if they were paid by the word. Even the fraudulently calm Mike Barnicle unwound by his usual exaggerated analysis, declaring how John Kelly’s word cannot be at all questioned, only to have it shown to him that someone notable had, in fact, done just that.
You have to step back and simply marvel at the magnificence of this rake-jumping from @mikebarnicle.

Seriously, this needs to be hung in the Museum of Modern Art: pic.twitter.com/SFSvMk6P2d
Another example came with a visit by journalist George Packer. He hails from The Atlantic, that partisan source that is owned by Kamala Harris BFF Laurene Jobs and the recent source of one of the worst examples of journalism, which emerged this week. Packer Zoomed in to the morning show, and the discussion was centered on the disturbing reality that is revealed in the internal polling and is shaking the foundations at the DNC.
The tide of black and Hispanic voters crossing over for Donald Trump has become alarming for the Democrats, and the press is unwound that their constant mewling about how Trump is a fascist, sexist, racist, classist monster is not having the desired effect of keeping these minority voters on the reservation. In addressing this concern, Packer resorted to condescension of the lowest order and, in so doing, managed to reveal the problems within the Left and the press.
Just a white writer from @TheAtlantic saying blacks and Latinos are too stupid to know they should vote for Kamala. pic.twitter.com/2TD8E4r4F2

So much is wrong in just this brief clip. The racism of low expectations is front and center. But George and the “Morning Joe” panel never pause to consider whether insulting a voting base that is fleeing is the smart strategy to lure them to Kamala’s side of the ballot. Then there is that elitist element, where the educated are only expected to vote Democrat, and therefore, they can take care of the allegedly oppressed minorities who cannot help themselves, presumably.
But here is the deeper flaw in Packer’s snide viewpoint. While calling these minority voters too stupid to realize what they are doing, he bypasses the fact they are discussing those who have switched their vote. That is to say, these people who are too dumb to realize how they are voting today were previously voting Democrat. Would that mean they were smart then? Or was their uneducated status not a problem when they were voting “correctly”? Or, were they previously brilliant but then contracted a case of stupidity, which guided them astray???
What Packer is too oblivious to grasp (I’m not calling him “dumb”; he is far too educated to be labeled that, obviously) is what could be in play here is that the voters are maturing — acquiring wisdom, as it were — and no longer swayed as much by the emotional bleating from their masters.
Nah – cannot be the case. Anyone who does not vote in alignment with George Packer or “Morning Joe” must be uneducated dunces. I’m here to report that is what they are saying — for those of you who are too smart to be watching MSNBC or reading The Atlantic.
