Outlets Dismissing Kamala’s McDonald’s Fabrication Shows the Press Truly Acting As Her PR Corps

It has been quite evident that our national media circuit is working hard to see that Kamala Harris is elected the first President to reach the highest office with zero voter support. What makes this potentially historic is she is one step away from the Oval Office despite two primary elections taking place without her earning a single delegate vote.

But the Democrats and the press are deeply concerned with our democratic process becoming threatened. Sure.

To see just how corrupt the journalists in the country have become, let’s take a look at the reaction to this week’s revelation that Kamala Harris, despite the boasting for weeks that she once worked at a McDonalds, evidently never actually worked at a McDonalds.

The Washington Free Beacon came out with an investigative report (that is to say, the outlet committed journalism) detailing that there is no tangible evidence that shows the presidential candidate was ever employed at the fast food franchise.

The Beacon showed that in neither of her memoirs, nor her job records over the years, nor in any of the books written about her by others have her tenure at The Arches when she “did fries” - her description - ever been referenced. The outlet even found her law school application where her work history was provided, and while she detailed a brief one-month stint as a clerk on the form, her time spent “working her way through college” slinging Happy Meals was not included.

Since the piece ran in the Free Beacon, McDonalds corporate came out and stated there is no record of Harris ever being employed at one of its locations. So as this story is getting blasted into confetti is the journalism class in this nation inspired to start digging and getting to the truth? Er, no - quite the opposite.

Instead, they are behaving as if they drove down the road and discovered their Quarter Pounder to-go had no actual meat patty, and went on Yelp to post a 5-star review. The journalists have been more intent on bypassing this story and basically insulting anyone who thinks this is significant. As one example that may not be the worst, but typifies this dismissive attitude, we give you Ursula Perano of Politico.

One way to address this journalistic sloth is to say that if this is a non-story then investigate it, shame the Free Beacon with facts, and have it go away. Show us that it has no substance. But they realize that this would (Gasp) involve doing their jobs, and quite likely it would turn out as a negative for Harris. Both of these are unacceptable realities. But the proof actually resides in the hollow excuse-making by these journalists.

The attempt being made is that this was a triviality that was unearthed and then attempts were made to extrapolate this into a major issue. The reality, as they well know, is that Harris is the one who made this a major issue. If this is such a toss-away item then why did she and her campaign tout it so much? She brought it up in speeches and shared it repeatedly on social media, her campaign has referenced it as a voter selling point, and it was a featured topic at the Democratic Convention.

But today anyone daring to ask for evidence of her work history is painted as the desperate partisans on this story. The Free Beacon did not stumble across a missed detail in an application form from decades back, they looked into the matter based on the campaign making this a story. Paul Sperry, of Real Clear Investigations, actually lived up to the name of his outlet and dared investigate further. He came to find out that instead of providing answers and/or evidence, the Harris campaign has now abandoned any reference to her time dishing nugs in the drive-through.

This story in general is not deeply significant, but it is relevant as to revealing the character of the woman we are told is worthy of the White House. Consider that as the press is trying to tell us that her lie about her work history is not anything to concern ourselves with, we at the same time are supposed to care deeply that J.D. Vance once made a joke with Tucker Carlson about cat ladies years ago. That story has been a feature in the news for weeks, but Harris and her campaign pushing what appears to be an outright lie about her is something we are to overlook.

There may be no better way to see the way our press industry operates than on this particular story. Look how quickly they have shifted from Kammy’s work at McDonald’s being a vital emblematic piece of evidence about her prowess, to now suggesting anyone who cares about this story (they told us to care about) is a biased hysteric.
