Tonight is the first (and way too early) presidential debate! Will Joe sound coherent? Will Trump sound rational? Will either of them say anything substantive?!

We have seen the evidence for a month now, and the announcement of Jake Tapper and Dana Bash as the co-moderators was just the beginning. The system has been jury-rigged with concessions, and those mostly appear to aid the diminishing president.
Then we peer into this week’s Democrat primary, where noted antisemite Jamaal Bowman alarmingly lost his reelection bid. The press has been, as expected, in a knot over how to cover this since Bowman was a protected member of The Squad. Then we close with a look into the misfire that has been the woke “Star Wars” entry, “The Acolyte.” It has become so bad the creator is denying the same woke content that she bragged about before the debut.
