Yes, the Trump GUILTY verdict was handed down, and the press has been in a condition just short of slathering themselves in Vaseline and partying in blowup pools filled with watermelon White Claws. What has been notable in all of this ebullient, cathartic reporting is how imbalanced their approach has been. Many are rising in defense of Judge Juan Merchan, and declaring that criticizing a judge is a consummate threat to our legal system.
Meanwhile, the same legal titans in the press have been scorching another judge, as it appears some decisions in another Trump lawsuit have been favorable to the former president. Also, it is a little bit tough to take lectures on how wrong it is to “attack” a judge, from the same journalists who have spent weeks telling Supreme Justice Alito to quit the bench because of a flag outside his home.
To move from the trial hysteria, there is an antiquated scandal about Trump brought back to life, although no evidence has yet to be presented, Jen Psaki tells another wondrously insipid untruth, and we find that a journalist wanted to explore racism in America, so he resorted to “journalism blackface” to get material.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media malpractice and misinformation.

For his book, a white Canadian journalist wanted to gather proof of racism, so he disguised himself as a black man.
The press that squeals about Trump criticizing a judge at his trial are sure comfortable criticizing a judge at his other trial.
Good to know that the press never would call into question the character or competency of a judge...right now.
