We begin by looking back at the State of the Union address, specifically the press coverage after the speech. I compiled a lengthy list of major news outlets all using the exact same term to describe Biden’s delivery, in a blatant example of press herd mentality with the White House. This takes us to Florida, where we have seen the press act in similar, identical fashion with its “Don’t Say Gay” lie being universally used. A recent court case saw a settlement reached over a challenge to the Parental Rights in Education Act, and the media rushed to call this a defeat for Ron DeSantis. Small (major) problem: The settlement saw that the law went completely unchanged — in any fashion.
Next, we look at the Associated Press as they came forward to declare that Donald Trump was lying in his comments about Joe Biden secretly flying large numbers of immigrants into the country. The AP managed to prove the flights happened, proved the number of arrivals was accurate, and proved that it was done in secrecy. But…Trump lied, somehow.
Finally, we look at the fractured January 6 Committee, and how recently exposed testimony shows the biased, and possibly illegal, manner they operated this supposed investigation.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
