Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarky.
We start out with the brilliant piece of media judo put on by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports. The polarizing figure is putting on a pizza festival this weekend to support struggling pie purveyors, which he has been doing since the pandemic. He got wind that the Washington Post was out to do a hit piece, attempting to shame sponsors and participants for being associated with Portnoy, so he took it to the Post. Dave called and recorded the conversation he had with Emily Heil, the writer who contacted the sponsors. He trapped her in a lie, then managed to have her admit that opening with negative (possibly slanderous) comments is the journalism method used. The piece that eventually came out is as bad as expected.
Also, in more Russell Brand scandal developments, the UK Parliament is trying to get involved. When that body learned that the video platform was not taking down Brand's videos - after YouTube had demonetized his accounts - they wrote a letter to Rumble with stern questions. I am certain Parliament is not happy with the equally stern answers it received from Rumble. Then, to continue with the threats on free expression, the Biden campaign announced it would be forming a disinformation squad, and at the United Nations, the former prime minister of New Zealand spoke of the need to address and silence those delivering misinformation while also declaring a love for free expression. Her Orwellian message is essentially, "Censorship is free speech."
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.
