Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malpractice.
Two major criminal videos have been released, and in the wake of those revelations, some uncomfortable details emerged in the press circles. First, in Memphis, the death of Tyre Nichols after being detained by police has kicked off a firestorm of outrage…but then the press became interrupted by the facts of the case. In response, CNN has Van Jones coming forward to rescue the media narrative by making a rather ridiculous claim.
Then we also got a look at the police cam footage from the night of Paul Pelosi’s attack in his home. While it answers quite a number of questions about the events from that night, one other question looms large. Why did NBC News spike the report from Miguel Almaguer and suspend the reporter, as we now see that he was mostly accurate in his reporting? This really begs for an explanation.
Moving onto lighter fare, DirecTV has once again moved to take down a conservative news outlet from its channel packages, for the second time in a year. The “how” and the “why” behind this move do not make too much sense. And also the Associated Press Stylebook has come out with a ridiculous new standard. The reason for the decision shows The wire service is The party in The wrong here.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and mistakes.

- The Tyre Nichols killing at the hands of police has seen the press getting ready for a new batch of race riots.
- The racial makeup of the officers interrupted the press narrative, but Van Jones is here to assure the press that it is still racism.
- The release of the Paul Pelosi hammer attack footage now has people wondering why NBC News suspended Miguel Almaguer for his accurate reporting.
- DirecTV has taken down Newsmax from its listings. Their claim that this is over a carriage dispute is rather weak.
- The Associated Press has a problem with the word “the” being used in a dehumanizing manner. It is about THE dumbest explanation you will see.
The use of “the French” in this tweet by @AP was inappropriate and has caused unintended offense. An updated tweet is upcoming.
