Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House on Tuesday after four years of hostility from the Biden administration. Meeting with President Donald Trump, the two discussed how to handle the situation in Gaza, with the idea of relocation being front and center.
Naturally, that set the hair on fire of many Democrats and their allies in the "international establishment."

Some of the things Trump has said in the last hour alone…

“I don't think people should go back to Gaza. I hope that they will be fine and happy where they go and won't want to return.”
“I'm talking about moving all Palestinians from Gaza permanently.”

Palestinians aren’t going anywhere. This president can only spew this fanatical bullshit because of bipartisan support in Congress for funding genocide and ethnic cleansing. It's time for my two-state solution colleagues to speak up. https://t.co/WEKKUHfMpj

One of Trump's best assets as a politician is his ability to say what everyone else was already thinking but didn't think they were allowed to state out loud. The status quo says you can never suggest that the situation in Gaza is untenable and only leads to continued suffering and misery for all involved, including the Palestinians. Trump doesn't care about the status quo, though. He speaks in common-sensical terms, and that drives his critics insane.
Due to the war that Hamas started on October 7th, the area is now in ruins while terrorists continue to exert political influence and seek reprisals. Many Palestinians would like to leave and escape that oppression, but people like Rep. Rashida Tlaib can't allow that because then they would lose their primary way to attack Israel. It's not any more complicated than that. Palestinian leaders do not want a two-state solution and have repeatedly rejected one. They want the destruction of Israel and will settle for nothing less. That's not a sustainable position, and the more Palestinians leave the strip and settle in Araba countries, the better off everyone will be.
With that said, there was a mask-off moment for a reporter during the fireside chat in the Oval Office. In the video of the exchange, you can hear "The Prime Minister wants you to strike Iran" shouted from the press scrum. Trump's response is so pointed that Netanyahu had to stop himself from bursting out laughing.

TRUMP: You don't know what he wants. What do you know about anything?

TRUMP: You don't know what he wants. What do you know about anything?
(Other reporters start laughing)
Much of Trump's appeal is him showing people that you can just say and do things. You don't have to abide by pointless norms that only benefit one side of the political divide. Netanyahu looked like a kid in a candy store listening to the president battle reporters and pointedly counter the status quo. What a change from the prior four years, right?
