Kamala Harris Runs for the Hills With New Statement on the Debates

Kamala Harris has released a statement declaring that "debate about the debates is over." She then goes on to suggest Donald Trump may not show up for the September 10th head-to-head on ABC News before denying JD Vance's request to have more than one vice presidential debate.

It's worth remembering that Harris and Walz have continually mouthed off about the debates since their astroturfed campaign began, suggesting their opponents are fearful of them. Does the following sound like they are that confident, though?

Who anointed Kamala Harris the master and commander of all debates to the point where she gets to be the beginning and end of the conversation? A press that wasn't completely in her pocket would ask that question and probe her on her previous bluster. The normal fare is three presidential debates, with two focused on domestic issues and one on foreign policy. Shouldn't Harris be expected to do the bare minimum?

Of course, not. She's the most entitled, pampered presidential candidate in history, not winning a single primary vote, so why would anyone expect her to act like anything but an entitled brat? Then there's Tim Walz, who has repeatedly suggested on the stump that Vance is terrified to debate him. Yet, when Vance says he's ready to do multiple debates, suddenly Walz isn't interested.

This is all part of the quasi-basement strategy that the Harris campaign is employing. Yes, they are doing campaign events, but anyone can show up and read a teleprompter. Neither has done a single interview or press conference yet, and it looks like that won't occur until the end of August at the earliest. With the debates being one of Trump's primary means to break through the insanely biased press, which has made its mission to sweep Harris into office, is it any wonder the vice president and her running mate are terrified to do too many of them?

Never mind that the debates that have been agreed to are going to take place on networks and with moderators that are supremely favorable to the Harris campaign. Why should Trump show up for a debate on ABC News if Harris refuses to show up for the traditional third debate on Fox News?

Unfortunately, because of the bias of the mainstream media, Trump has to go into these situations with his hands tied behind his back. It's unfair, but no journalists are going to press Harris on her cowardice in this situation because none of them want to be the journalist who "helped" Donald Trump. Thus is the life of being a Republican. I wish it were different, but it's not.
