Khymani James finally faced the consequences of his actions on Friday after multiple reports indicating he may have been expelled from Columbia University.
As RedState reported, videos of the self-proclaimed revolutionary who leads the pro-Hamas "encampment" on campus showed him calling for Jews to be exterminated. In his disturbing rantings, James claimed that "Zionists don't deserve to live" and said they should be exterminated like "nazis." Around 95 percent of Jews support the existence of a Jewish state, making them "Zionists."

After clips of his livestream went viral, James responded with a non-apology in which he essentially doubled down on his rhetoric while claiming that he was being victimized.

I also want to add more context to my words, which I regret. Far-right agitators went through months of my social media feed until they found a clip that they edited without context. When I recorded it, I had been feeling unusually upset after an online mob targeted me because I'm visibly queer and black.
Unfortunately, this is not my first time being targeted by online trolls and harassed by people who use racist and homophobic slurs - "***** monkey" and worse - in an effort to intimidate student protesters like me
At the end of his statement, James repeated his claim that "Zionism is an ideology that necessitates the genocide of the Palestinian people" (not true), in an attempt to justify his prior threats. He lamented that his words had become a "distraction" while not showing any remorse for them.
That left many people asking what Columbia University was going to do in the face of a student leader calling for the actual genocide of Jews. We have an answer.

Earlier today, antisemitic scum Khymani James was kicked out of Columbia after his murderous rant targeting Jews went viral on social media. pic.twitter.com/I1IePQseIF
It is a good thing that this maniac has reportedly been expelled, but there are serious reasons to doubt that Columbia did this for any other reason than to quell the public backlash. The university has known about these videos since January. Yet, officials did nothing in response until they became politically toxic months later. James should have been expelled immediately. Instead, he was allowed to lead an illegal protest.
So yeah, better late than never, but Columbia has a lot of explaining to do.
