There’s a lot going on out there in the news, and to some extent, that’s put the FTX scandal on the back burner. We shouldn’t let that happen. The FTX scandal is one of the most important stories of the year, exposing everything from the scam that is ESG to the deep-seated incestuous relationship between the corporate world and the Democratic Party.
And to be sure, that relationship is as grotesque as it appears. Offering proof of that, Maxine Waters chose to play patty-cake with Sam Bankman-Fried on Friday, the founder of FTX who allegedly stole billions of dollars from his clients.
.@SBF_FTX, we appreciate that you've been candid in your discussions about what happened at #FTX. Your willingness to talk to the public will help the company's customers, investors, and others. To that end, we would welcome your participation in our hearing on the 13th.

When I saw that tweet, I had to do a doubletake to make sure it wasn’t a parody account. But nope, it’s completely real. Did Maxine Waters receive money from Bankman-Fried? I’d love to know the answer to that because what else could explain this kind of kid gloves treatment? Somehow, I doubt that she fluffed Bernie Madoff in the same manner.
I guess that’s the kind of treatment being a top Democrat donor earns you, though. Bankman-Fried may be an infamous conman who admitted ESG is a fraud, but he was paying the bills for a whole bunch of leftwing politicians, and it’s obvious that they are desperate to keep the gravy train rolling. Waters choosing to pretend Bankman-Fried is an innocent victim is insane, but it makes a heck of a lot of sense when you consider who is buttering whose bread.
Meanwhile, Bankman-Fried has now responded directly to Waters.
Rep. Waters, and the House Committee on Financial Services:
Once I have finished learning and reviewing what happened, I would feel like it was my duty to appear before the committee and explain.
I'm not sure that will happen by the 13th. But when it does, I will testify. https://t.co/c0P8yKlyQt

I’m trying not to get nauseous watching these two corrupt clowns interact. Bankman-Fried, having received his pat on the head from Waters, falls right into spewing propaganda about needing to “learn what happened,” as if he wasn’t the CEO of the company and solely responsible for how the money was moved around. Bankman-Fried is the villain here, not some faceless humanoid he’s concocted as a scapegoat.
Worse, Waters knows he’s the villain yet is still choosing to not even issue a subpoena, instead offering for Bankman-Fried to testify like he’s just some random academic coming to pose as an expert. I wonder why?
Could it have something to do with this.
Of course she is. pic.twitter.com/U82IPtoqCb

Further, can anyone explain why this guy hasn’t been arrested yet? He scammed thousands of people out of billions of dollars. He violated his company’s own terms of service. Yet, he’s walking free, doing interviews, and getting back massages from Democrat congressional members. If that’s not a sign of the times, and just how corrupt they are, then I don’t know what is.
