This is just coming across the wire, or better yet, President Trump’s Twitter account. He just announced on the social media platform that Rudy Giuliani has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.
Here’s the message.
.@RudyGiuliani, by far the greatest mayor in the history of NYC, and who has been working tirelessly exposing the most corrupt election (by far!) in the history of the USA, has tested positive for the China Virus. Get better soon Rudy, we will carry on!!!

RedState’s prayers go out to Giuliani that he’s able to beat this and beat it quickly without any further issues. Obviously, he’s in an age bracket that is fairly threatened by the virus. I’m not sure if he has any preconditions that will complicate matters or not, though I know he’s had health issues in the past.
The other question is how this affects Trump’s legal strategy that is currently ongoing. Giuliani has led that effort, including being front and center at all the recent hearings. With him gone, I guess the burden falls to Jenna Ellis, though I’m not sure how involved in the nuts and bolts she truly is. She comes across as more of a spokesperson at times. I guess we’ll find out.
But the most important thing is that Giuliani recovers from this. Nothing else measures up that in importance.
