A new report is out today with claims from Jill Biden’s ex-husband that include allegations of an affair and lies about how she and Joe Biden met. Bill Stevenson is set to release a book with that and other stories included. Of the 300 pages, about 80 will deal with Jill Biden. How much real evidence he has of any of this is something that has yet to be revealed.

Jill Biden’s ex-husband has accused the potential first lady of having an affair with Joe Biden and says they lied about how they met in the 1970s, according to a bombshell new report.
Bill Stevenson on Monday accused the presumptive Democratic nominee of being a home-wrecker and says the feel-good story of how Joe and Jill met on a blind date is completely made up, the Daily Mail reported.
“I don’t want to hurt anyone,” said Stevenson, now 72, who is working on a book that includes the lurid claim. “But facts are facts and what happened, happened.”
He goes on to list several instances where Jill was spending more and more time with Biden, blowing off her then-husband, and even getting into a car wreck with Biden when she wasn’t supposed to be with him. It does not appear that he actually caught them in the act, though it’s fairly probable something went on given she eventually married Biden.
Of course, Biden tells a much different story. He claims to have only noticed Jill in an ad in 1975 after her divorce. He says he then asked to be introduced, long after she had started working for him. Stevenson was already friends with Biden at the time. The basic timeline doesn’t add up if Jill was working for him as early as 1972 and getting into car wrecks with him later. People embellish their “how we fell in love” stories, but this seems a bit extreme.
I’ll caveat this piece by saying my care level for this is mostly zero. If Jill and Joe Biden had an affair before their marriage, that’s their business apart from the general notation that affairs are bad and immoral. To the extent that Biden has lied about how he met his wife, we are talking about something that happened 45 years ago. My real interest here is in pointing out the hypocrisy we are about to see from the media when it comes to decades-old extra-marital affairs and the credibility of books written by those with a reason to hold a grudge. If Trump’s past is fair game, then so is Joe Biden’s, but Stevenson’s claims will instead be treated as too low-brow to even cover.
Let’s recall that not a single tell-all book written about Trump has been met by skepticism in the mainstream media. They’ve all been treated as gospel truth until objective evidence comes out to disprove many of the claims, which has inevitably happened with most books targeting Trump. Just look at the reception Mary Trump’s book has gotten despite her not providing proof of anything she says in it.
But because this new book will target Biden, it’ll no doubt be treated as not credible and not worth covering. Pay attention and you’ll see a stunning level of hypocrisy play out. The same goes for the general treatment of allegations of affairs. Lots of “conservatives” who despise Trump cite Biden as a do-good who’d never do anything morally repulsive like the orange man has. They’ll probably be avoiding the topic of affairs now, just as they are doing with Kamala Harris’ relationship with Willie Brown.
Regardless, I doubt this goes anywhere. Stevenson’s book isn’t targeting the right person, so he’ll get no media interviews, nor any breathless cable news analysis taking his claims seriously.
