The media are continuing their meltdown after Trump gave one of the better speeches of his presidency last night at Mt. Rushmore. In marking the occasion of the country’s founding, the President urged unity but also pulled no punches about those who seek to destroy America’s lineage through coercion and violence.

That really triggered networks like CNN and MSNBC, with the latter hosting this absolute nonsense without any push back.

Celebrating the 4th of July at one of the nation’s premiere monuments is apparently white supremacy now. Not supporting violent rioting and looting is also white supremacy. Basically, anything the left doesn’t like is white supremacy. Are you starting to see the game now?

Sharpton, who was doing the commentary here, leaves no ambiguity in his proclamation that those on Mt. Rushmore need to be written out of the American story. Such a comment would have been unthinkable and widely condemned just a few years ago. Today, it’s now mainstream thought on the left.

These people are not going to stop. They aren’t going to finally reach a line they won’t cross. For the media’s part, they see themselves as getting ahead of a new movement they can take advantage of down the road. Of course, they are more likely to end up eaten by the alligator they are currently feeding.

In the end, it’s going to take Americans standing up and saying enough is enough here. We aren’t going to get rid of the founding fathers and we aren’t going to adhere to a faux history which ignores the sins of all in favor of focusing on the sins of some. It’s divisive, ungrateful, and grotesque.
