The Washington Post continues to operate as an organ of the Chinese communist party. The latest is to attack Trump for “demonizing” China, the country which foisted a pandemic on the world and has cost the United States around 100,000 deaths to this point.

Honestly, I despise this kind of argument in relation to China. The attitude whereby money is the only thing of value in regards to how we deal with China is not only short-sighted, it’s dangerous.
I’ve written numerous pieces on the misdeeds of China and how we are selling our national security down the river for cheap products. I enjoy my big screen TV as much as the next guy, but I also recognize that you can’t deal with China just be counting dollars and cents. Doing so has led us to the horrible situation we are in now, whereby the CCP’s aggression is escalating on the backs of decades of stupid trade decisions that didn’t take into account unintended consequences.
Ted Cruz managed to come in off the ropes and drop this ridiculous take by the Post.
So the the lesson WaPo draws from massive CCP lies & coverup leading directly to a global pandemic and killing over 343,000 people is that America…needs to be nicer to China. https://t.co/ixJrIVVf8n

It’s long past time for the Bush-Obama consensus on China to die a painful death. The lesson here is not to bow before Xi more. It’s to tighten the pressure down even further, putting ourselves in a position to extricate ourselves from this ridiculous relationship once and for all. It can’t happen overnight, but we need to start the journey.
