Joe Biden just broke every rule previously laid out by the #metoo movement in his latest answers to the Tara Reade sexual assault allegation. Lucky for him, he’s got immunity among most of that group, but it’s something else he said that really stood out.

In a recent interview, he was asked to again respond to the accusation levied against him. Here was his answer.

Joe Biden has this very odd, arrogant retort that he uses often. Anytime someone gets under his skin, he proclaims that they just shouldn’t vote for him. This is his way of avoiding dealing with the tough issues and questions. We saw this on the campaign trail (before it was shut down) in early 2020. Multiple times, he snapped at voters by telling them to go vote for someone else.

If Biden really thinks everyone who believes Reade should vote for someone else, he might want to rethink that. Why? Because some non-irrelevant number of Democrats believe Reade but have said they’ll support Biden anyway. We’ve seen several high-profile editorials present that very position. Perhaps telling them to all take a hike isn’t very smart? And while they probably won’t listen in this case, what this does show is just how unstable Biden is in any situation he doesn’t have a teleprompter, and even then, you never know if he’ll forget how to read.

Biden’s answer continued by trying to toe the line between calling Reade a liar and pretending he cares about her allegation.

Biden says initially that he doesn’t “want to question her motive,” and then proceeds to spin a word salad questioning her motive. You can make sense of that.

Let’s be clear. The Reade allegation has not been “vetted.” In fact, any vetting that has occurred has simply turned up more and more evidence. After that evidence emerged, whether it was the multiple people saying they were told at the time, the Larry King video, or the latest mention in a 1996 court filing, the media and Democrats have grown more and more hostile. They aren’t following the “storyline” as Biden claims. Instead, they are putting up walls and pretending the story is over when, by their own standards, it should be pursued even harder now.

The whole “I would never do that” premise Biden uses was something scoffed at during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings. Here, he tries to use it to limited effect. Is it really “out of character” that he’d possibly take advantage of a woman when there are more public groping videos of Biden than you can keep count of, including of underage children?

None of this is normal and Biden’s answers are getting more and more incoherent, either because he has no good ones, or he’s continuing to go senile. Perhaps both?
