If you’ve ever wondered how vapid some of the personalities on these major TV talk shows are, here’s another piece of evidence you may have missed.
Whoopi Goldberg made a head-scratching suggestion on The View several weeks ago. Apparently, Jill Biden, wife of Joe Biden, should be Surgeon General because she’s an “amazing doctor.” There’s just one problem with that.
Whoopi Goldberg saying that Jill Biden should be Surgeon General and that she’s an “Amazing Doctor.” Jill Biden has a PhD in education. https://t.co/UQtTpFpslg

Jill Biden is not a medical doctor. Rather, her field is in education, which is a far cry from managing pandemics and leading regulatory creation. Goldberg apparently didn’t know that, suggesting she be placed as one of the nation’s top medical experts.
It’s funny but also hypocritical. How many times have the panels on The View railed against the fact that Trump family members hold positions in his White House? Now we want to make the possible future First Lady the Surgeon General because she has a PhD? That almost sounds like the dreaded nepotism Whoopi and countless left-wing personalities have railed again.
What this also shows is just how stupid our partisanship can become. Even if Jill Biden were a medical doctor, why in the world should she be placed in such a role? It’s one thing to act as a political advisor like Jared Kushner. It’d be a completely different thing to appoint one’s wife to a major government position like Surgeon General. But because Jill Biden is a Democrat, she must be great, right?
Let this be a reminder that these talking heads do not actually know more than you, they aren’t smarter then you, and they aren’t more qualified to talk about these matters than you.
