One of the most incredible, yet unsurprising aspects of the politics surrounding the Wuhan virus is how mainstream media outlets are absolutely shameless in attempting to re-write history. The same outlets that were saying “worry about the flu” and “don’t buy masks” a month ago now want to pretend they were knew exactly what was happening all along. Further, they are using their revisionsim to attack the right as somehow helping propagante the pandemic.
Enter The New York Times, who wrote a shameless article on the “four steps” conservatives supposedly took to make matters worse. They include things like “downplaying the risks” and “blaming the left.” Tucker Carlson took them to task for their latest political machinations and manages to spin their “steps” into a glorious take down of the liberal outlet.
Tucker nails it.
Keep in mind, journos are buying masks while telling you not to.
Then they attack Trump, conservatives, Christians, and Fox News.

As Carlson points out, the Times was busy calling people who were worried about the Wuhan virus racist in January. They weren’t on the forefront of anything. In fact, in mid-February, the Times posted an article claiming that fear was spreading faster than the virus, with the indication being that people were unnecessarily worried.
Also in February, the Times bashed Trump’s travel ban, insinuating it was safe to travel to and from China. Then, by the end of February, the Times was calling the virus the “Trump-virus.” The transformation was complete. They had went from downplaying and mocking anyone who was concerned to blaming evangelicals and Fox News viewers for the virus spreading in the United States.
Carlson ends by showing a clip of a Times reporter spouting Chinese propaganda and suggesting we should hire Chinese doctors to come here and fight the pandemic.
The actions of the media during this crisis continue to be ridiculous. Luckily, there is an alternative media, such as RedState, which can counter all the nonsense they are spewing. There will be no re-writing of history when this is over.
