The polling showing that a majority of Americans approve of the President’s handling of the Wuhan virus pandemic is no longer an outlier. Poll after poll is now showing him about 50% on that question, with one poll putting him above 60%.
Now, a new CBS News poll gives us another data point.

If you were wondering why the media are out pushing conspiracy theories that Trump is responsible for dumb people drinking fish cleaner, this is your answer. They simply can’t understand why their propaganda efforts aren’t working.
This is why the media had to blame Trump yesterday for someone drinking fish tank cleaner. https://t.co/7vWUrSvxaq

That’s how you get idiocy like this.
It’s safe to say the journos received their talking points this morning. #ToutedByTrump pic.twitter.com/k77COwVIqZ

I’ll be honest. The way in which the media coverage and Democrat machinations are backfiring is somewhat surprising to me. I get too ensconced in the bubble sometimes, always having to look for what these people are saying in order to report on it. The real world is much less hysterical than the media want us to believe.
Regardless, they are completely invested in the idea that they hold more sway than they do. The fact that their repeating of Chinese propaganda, blaming deaths on Trump, and trying to cause chaos isn’t working has them on edge right now. That’s why we are seeing their coverage get more and more ridiculous.
For example, yesterday, an NBC “journalist” complained that Trump used “they” to describe wanting to protect Asian Americans (see Journalist Who Made ‘Kung Flu’ Claim Finds Something New to Be Triggered Over). Then there’s this fish cleaner story, which is laughable on its face as far as trying to blame the President over it.
The media’s credibility is gone, their influence is waning, and they are freaking out about it.
