China’s information war against the United States in regards to Wuhan coronavirus is in full swing.

Their most helpful allies? The mainstream media, who are dutifully repeating Chinese propaganda to try to own the orange man. That then allows the ChiComs to go back and parrot those American claims as authoritative. Here’s the most recent example.

Read those words and tell me you haven’t heard some variation of them said by dozens of liberal cable news personalities. In fact, it was so similar that I thought it might be a direct quote. Instead, it appears to just be a conglomeration of media claims by outlets like Vox and CNN.

For example, here’s Vox pushing the “distraction” angle just a few days ago.

Seated behind his desk in the White House Wednesday, Trump looked into the camera and warned Americans of an enemy who has infiltrated our borders. We are at war, he said, with a “foreign virus.”

It’s a tactic meant to distract from what his administration has and hasn’t done, in this case to combat the coronavirus pandemic. “This is the most aggressive and comprehensive effort to confront a foreign virus in modern history,” Trump said of his administration’s work.

I won’t bore you with more from that article, but I’ll note that toward the bottom, they cite some doctor claiming the European travel ban is a distraction. That’s been proven hilariously wrong at this point, but hey, it’s Vox.

As to the claims of racism, CNN has been hot on that case.

Because holding the Chinese accountable for their lies, which have now led to over ten thousand deaths, is racist and xenophobic. Conversly, using language that directly attaches the virus to the CCP is a worthy tactic that seeks to not let them cover up their malfeseacne. You’d think the American media could get behind such an effort.

But nah, they instead find themselves in a back slapping session with the communists, because of course they do.
