Rather than returning to Washington, Women’s March leaders are holding a “Power to the Polls” event in the Nevada city on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, launching a voter registration tour and putting out the message that the next step is all about taking back the House and the Senate. “The year 2018 is really where the rubber meets the road,” says Sarsour, one of the original march organizers. I’m sure this will go over well.
Noted anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, who also doubles as a Bernie Sanders surrogate, has let it be known what must happen before the Bernie Bro army lines up behind the barely cognizant Joe Biden. Apparently, it involves conceding and negotiating, which is an odd demand from someone on the losing side.
If Biden gets this nomination and wants Bernie supporters – he’s going to have to concede & negotiate on issues. We need to be able to inspire voters on the issues that moved us/them to support Bernie Sanders. I think this is fair and reasonable. We have to push him to the left.

Yeah, I’m thinking that’s not a thing that’s going to happen. Biden may be going senile, but his handlers know that the key back to the White House runs through the rust belt. He has to win back Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. Going further to the left and competing in the woke Olympics is a surefire way to alienate those voters, who are more blue-collar and traditional in their thinking. Sarsour’s mixture of antisemitism and communism is toxic in those parts of the country. There’s a reason that Rashida Tlaib couldn’t deliver Michigan for Bernie. These people simply have very little appeal outside of their urban enclaves.
You’ve got to admire the arrogance, though. It takes guts to demand the subservience of the person who just beat you. Of course, what Sarsour is really doing is giving a warning. The Bernie Bro contingent is angry and that anger isn’t going to go away in November. This leaves Biden in a lose-lose situation. Does he alienate moderate, blue-collar workers he needs to win the mid-west or does he try to pacify the socialists to his left? Because I’m pretty sure it’s not possible to do both.
Honestly, even though I felt Bernie was the better match-up for Trump, a part of me is happy to see these people collapse. The less influence Sarsour, Tlaib, Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, etc. have in American politics, the better. Trump is perfectly capable of beating Biden on his own terms anyway.
