It’s finally over for Elizabeth Warren, who went from frontrunner to also ran in the Democratic primary fight. A new report is out saying she’s dropping out and that there are just the formalities left.

This was inevitable. She had no path forward, and at this point her entire campaign appeared to be a delusional vanity project.
The real question is who she throws her support behind. Logically, Bernie should be who she endorses, and her doing so could throw the race into turmoil for Joe Biden, especially if Bernie puts her on as VP. Yet, we can’t forget that just a few months ago Warren was calling Bernie a liar and a sexist on national TV, so it’s safe to assume bad blood exists there.
While I’m certainly rooting for her to back Bernie, if for nothing else than the entertainment value, my suspicion is that she’ll fall in line with the establishment. She wants to run again and keep her public persona. If she ties herself to Bernie, there’s a huge risk that all goes away.
We’ll see what happens and keep you updated.
