Just in case you were wondering how James Comey was doing, the answer is not very well.
After Andrew McCabe was let off for committing multiple crimes, I assume the ex-FBI Director was fairly happy. His statements over the past three year shave made it pretty clear that he favors a two-tiered justice system. Jail for thee but not for me seems to be the moto.
So when Trump pointed out that Comney did the same thing Roger Stone did when it comes to lying to Congress, he didn’t take it too well.

That seems like a perfectly normal response from a 59 year old, former top lawman.
One, I’m pretty sure Trump is mentioning Comey because he was at the epicenter of a three year long plot to destroy his presidency. That kind of stays with a person. But two, the contrast is more than relevant. FBI officials are referred for criminal prosecution by the IG and nothing happens while other Americans are rabidly pursued. That’s not fairness, it’s corruption.
Regardless, you’d expect a person who bills himself as the last honest man in the country to understand that joking about getting away with crimes is not a good look at all. Again, the IG referred him for prosecution.
The only thing I can conclude at this point is that Comey is losing his mind. Trump has broken this guy so severely that he’s now tweeting Maria Carey memes. Sad scene.
