FILE – In this Oct. 11, 2012, file photo, Hunter Biden waits for the start of the his father’s, Vice President Joe Biden’s, debate at Centre College in Danville, Ky. In 2014, then-Vice President Joe Biden was at the forefront of American diplomatic efforts to support Ukraine’s fragile democratic government as it sought to fend off Russian aggression and root out corruption. So it raised eyebrows when Biden’s son Hunter was hired by a Ukrainian gas company. President Donald Trump prodded Ukraine’s president to help him investigate any corruption related to Joe Biden, now one of the top Democrats seeking to defeat Trump in 2020. Joe Biden is really upset.
As RedState reported on several days ago, Sen. Lindsey Graham sent a letter to Mike Pompeo requesting State Department documents dealing with Hunter Biden. This connects with an article I wrote a few weeks ago in which emails showed that Burisma was using the younger Biden to push the Obama administration to drop their suspicions of the company.
Another FOIA'd email shows that Hunter Biden's business partner and fellow Burisma board member Devon Archer was set to meet with Secretary of State John Kerry on March 2, 2016, a week after the email mentioning Hunter. pic.twitter.com/9MtqQSSg87

That spawned Graham’s latest effort to get answers. He sent the letter to Pompeo demanding all transcripts of phone calls between Joe Biden and Ukraine after the head of Burisma’s house was raided. The indication there is that it makes very little sense that the investigation was suddenly dropped.
Despite these reasonable suspicions, Joe Biden is lashing out and appeared to threaten Sen. Graham during an interview with Don Lemon.
Biden tells @donlemon he's "embarrassed by" Graham's actions after senator asks Pompeo to turn over docs related to Hunter and Ukraine

Well, that escalated quickly. How exactly does Biden plan on taking Graham down? And how does he know it’ll be so bad that Graham will regret it for the rest of his life? Seems a bit dramatic to me.
Try to imagine if Trump said something like this. It’d be a major, major story. Heck, we’ve had entire news cycles revolving around Trump using the word dog.
Biden would go on to fret about his friendship with Graham and assert that the Senator knows Hunter Biden did nothing wrong. The latter part of that is ridiculous. There is a ton of smoke around Hunter Biden and it’s only gotten worse this week. There are reports of major money being moved around, accounts in the Cayman Islands, and possible indictments in Ukraine. While nothing is certain (and the language barrier makes getting accurate reports difficult), there’s more than enough already exposed to warrant a real investigation. If this were Donald Trump’s son, there’d be a special counsel already.
Graham is simply doing his job here. Joe Biden’s anger only adds to the questions being asked.
