Astonishing 2015 Video Shows Rubio Channeling His Inner Nostradamus: Predicted Everything About Iran

Check out this stunning video from 2015, when then Republican senator from Florida and now Secretary of State Marco Rubio took to the Senate floor to blast former President Obama’s ridiculous 2015 Iran nuclear deal. That “deal” basically comprised of us sending the mullahs billions in pallets of cash for virtually nothing in return.

As the conflict in Iran continues unabated, with U.S.-Israeli airstrikes wiping out Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei along with most of the regime’s top leadership, Rubio’s words look stunningly prescient in retrospect. It’s as if he could look into the future — or maybe he just used his brain, something Obama, then-Secretary of State John Kerry, and the Democrats were simply unwilling to do at the time.

Watch:

It’s almost as if he knew people would be writing about what he had to say years later. He was on fire, and if there’s anything he got wrong, I’m not seeing it.

“I do want to be recorded for history's purposes, before I know what's going to happen in regards to this [deal], if it goes through,” he said.

Iran will immediately use the money that it's receiving and sanctions relief to begin to build up its conventional capabilities. It will establish the most dominant military power in the region outside of the United States, and it will raise the price of us operating in the region.

They're going to build anti-access capabilities, rockets capable of destroying our aircraft carriers and ships. Continue to build these swift boats that are able to come on us, these fast boats that are able to swarm our naval assets. And they’ll make it harder and harder for U.S. troops to be in the region.

He was quite aware of what Obama seemingly wasn’t: that handing the mullahs bags of cash would do nothing to stop them from remaining as the world’s number one sponsor of terrorism:

They'll also work with other terrorist groups in the region to target American servicemen and women. And they may or may not deny that they're involved, but they will target us and raise the price of our presence in the Middle East until they hope to completely pull us out of that region.

They'll also continue to build long range missiles. Missiles capable of reaching the United States.

The Usual Suspects Are Taking Rubio Grossly Out of Context About Israel and U.S. Attacks on Iran

Rubio pointed out what we all know (except, evidently, the Democrats): if we allowed the religious fanatics in Iran to get mass extinction weapons, the world would be held permanently as hostage (unless the planet were destroyed in a WW III that they caused):

And then at some point in the near future, when the time is right, they will build a nuclear weapon. And they will do so, because at that point, they will know that they have become immune, that we will no longer be able to strike their nuclear program because the price of doing so will be too high. This is not just the work of imagination, it exists in the world today.

It's called North Korea.

Many observers already knew that Rubio was a smart cookie, but the reminder of this speech brings the point home even more. He was right then — and he’s right now. Coddling terroristic sadists is not something we want to be remembered for as “leaving our children to inherit,” as he put it.

As the conflict rages on, and all too many European leaders want to look the other way and pretend it’s not happening, there’s no question that the Iranian regime presented a civilizational threat to the modern world.

Operation Epic Fury Will Continue As Senate Republicans Shoot Down Democrats' War Powers Resolution

Certainly, Operation Epic Fury could lead to bad things — that’s the risk of confronting evil — but I’ve long felt that Iran had to be dealt with. Rubio perfectly summed up why. If it’s not now, it’s later — and it would be exponentially harder to expunge the scourge if we had just let them continue in their ways.

And, as Nostradamus Marco pointed out, if we do nothing, we end up with another North Korea, but possibly even a worse one. As crazy as NK Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un is, he still seems to be rational enough to want to see his regime continue. The Ayatollah, however, driven by religious fanaticism, gave every indication that he didn’t care who lived or who died, and he was perfectly willing to blow up the entire planet to achieve his perverted view of what a god would want for humanity.

Rubio was on it, 11 years ago. And he’s on it now.
