Things have certainly been busy in Minneapolis this week as the anti-ICE agitators continue protesting and harassing federal law enforcement, and their rage over the deaths of demonstrators Renee Good and Alex Pretti has shown little sign of abating.
The ongoing saga has caused Donald Trump to make some moves in his administration, and on Monday, he announced that Border Czar Tom Homan would be supervising the Twin Cities’ situation while Border Patrol Commander‑at‑Large Greg Bovino would be leaving town. While many are contending that Bovino was fired, the administration said he’s still “a key part of the team.”
But leftists, never ones to let a good crisis go to waste, want heads to roll, and they are thirsty for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to get fired. For now, at least, they’re going to be left sad because the president met with Noem for two hours on Monday night and did not give her the axe.
In fact, he flat-out told reporters Tuesday that she isn't going anywhere:

Asked whether she was outta there, Trump had a one-word answer:
Trump was asked about Noem's status during a gaggle with reporters outside the White House. He told the press that he still thinks Noem is doing a "great job."
"Is Kristi Noem going to step down?" a reporter asked.
"No," Trump responded bluntly.
He later said he believes she is doing a "very good job," citing her role in closing down the border.
The Monday evening meeting with his DHS chief seemed to calm the waters:
The nearly two-hour Oval Office meeting underscored the administration's determination to restore order and refocus immigration enforcement after violent unrest and a deadly confrontation involving federal agents in Minneapolis sparked protests.
According to The New York Times, Trump met with Noem and her top aide, Corey Lewandowski, along with senior White House officials, as the administration evaluates next steps following the shooting death of Alex Pretti during an ICE operation over the weekend.
The meeting reportedly also included Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and Communications Director Steven Cheung. Trump seemed pleased with the outcome:
🚨 BREAKING: President Trump just DOUBLED DOWN on his support for Kristi Noem, DHS, and mass deportations

“Kristi is doing a GREAT job. She's fantastic. We've stopped the illegal border crossings - the numbers are the lowest they've been in DECADES!”
“She's tough on… pic.twitter.com/Zjn0BZroeN
“She's tough on immigration, built parts of the wall, and she's getting results. Why would I be unhappy? She's a STAR, and I'm very happy with her performance. We've had some very sad situations in Minnesota, but she's handling it well.”
Trump’s Cabinet has been remarkably stable; in fact, no member of the 22-person team has been fired, resigned, or changed positions (unless you count Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who seems to add new titles to his resumé daily).
It looks like, for now, that track record is going to stay intact.
Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
