Leftists Seethe As JD Vance Works Out With Navy SEALS, Posts Hilarious Meme

Between Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., you’ll see perhaps the most fitness-conscious presidential Cabinet you’ll ever witness. Hegseth, for instance, has been clear that he doesn’t want to see “fat generals and admirals,” and he's instituted new fitness guidelines and standards for troops to create a “warrior ethos.” Duffy, meanwhile, showcased an impressive set of pull-ups as he touted exercise centers in airports. The ripped RFK has the physique of a much younger man.

Vice President JD Vance is no slouch either, however, having served in the Marines from 2003-2007, a stint which included a deployment to Iraq, and he looks noticeably slimmer in photographs than he did in his younger years.

On Monday, the VP joined a workout with some of America’s fittest warriors, the Navy SEALS, and spent 90 punishing minutes in Coronado, California, carrying logs, scaling a net wall, and more. He survived, but said the exercise session was like getting hit by a train:

Of course, if you’re a liberal, one of your chief ambitions in life is to kvetch more about anything to do with the Trump administration, even if it’s a story about a vice president showing patriotism, support for our troops, and emphasizing fitness, which all seem like good things to normal people. Here’s the snarky coverage given by a notoriously leftist outlet:

Critics were unimpressed. “Nice cosplay as a Navy SEAL,” one user wrote, adding: “Leadership isn’t about photo ops, it’s about fixing the mess at home…”
Another commenter sneered that it was a “desperate photo op for a Vice President who cares more about his military ‘aesthetic’ than actually governing.”
Digital strategist Mike Nellis jabbed: “Cool, man—but when you’re done cosplaying, can you and your boss do something about housing and grocery prices? Thanks.”
And Democratic strategist Christopher Hale wrote on X, “It’s the middle of the workday. While Americans are grinding to make Christmas work, the vice president is burning taxpayer dollars pretending to be a Navy SEAL.”

Bitter much? Actually, grocery prices have largely stabilized since the days of Ole Joe's 9.1 percent Bidenflation, inflation, but libs want to pretend those days never happened. But also: what does his keeping in shape have to do with grocery prices anyway? Would you rather have a roly-poly VP sitting behind a desk studying charts 24-7?

“Make America Healthy Again” has been a staple narrative of the Trump administration, but because it involves Trump, the Left is now in the position of criticizing exercise. Many times, you think, they can’t possibly get any more disgruntled and juvenile, but they keep finding ways.
