Former FBI Director James Comey, whom I often refer to as “St. Jim” because of his holier-than-thou, sanctimonious manner, is reportedly about to find out that the Department of Justice doesn’t find him so angelic after all. In fact, MSNBC is reporting Wednesday that he’s about to be indicted:
Former FBI Director James Comey is expected to be indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia in the coming days, MSNBC reported Wednesday, citing three sources.
"The full extent of the charges being prepared against Comey is unclear, but the sources believe that at least one element of the indictment--if it goes forward--will accuse him of lying to Congress during his testimony on September 30, 2020 about whether he authorized a leak of information," an MSNBC reporter wrote on X.

We've only been waiting for YEARS to see this crook get held accountable.
There are many more who have to be indicted! pic.twitter.com/Q1Y0KIVRQS
If there was a law against being really strange, Comey would be indicted for that too:

Remember when he claimed he found a message on the beach made out of seashells that spelled “86 47?” Anyone with a brain knows that meant “get rid of” the 47th president—Donald Trump, yet Comey professed to be ignorant of its meaning. The chutzpah is mindblowing.
James Comey called for "47" to be "86’d" but then had the gall to pretend he didn’t know what 86 meant. You can’t be the Director of the FBI for 3+ years and pretend you didn’t know that a call to "86" someone is a call to kill them. You can’t credibly do that. The MSNBC report claims that Comey is being investigated for lying to Congress:
ANCHOR KATY TUR: Sources familiar tell MSNBC former FBI director James Comey is expected to be indicted in the coming days. The full extent of the charges being prepared against Comey is unclear.
CORRESPONDENT CAROL LEONNIG: We have some sources who say that for several weeks now, the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Virginia, and actually in offices that are potentially much further south than Alexandria, have been eyeing ways to indict Comey, and they are getting very much closer.
They are arguing that Comey... there is evidence to suggest Comey lied to Congress in his testimony on the Hill in September of 2020, and for viewers out in the audience... I'll just say that there's a statute of limitations to charge people with the crime of lying to Congress or perjury, and that's five years. The five-year statute runs this month.
This is a huge move by the DOJ, if it pans out. It’s unclear what exactly he’s suspected of lying about, because there are so many examples of potential mendacity, but if MSNBC is right about what's about to go down, we should know soon.
Wow.
