Unaccountable Adam: Schiff Dodges Question About Biden Cover-Up, Hits Trump With Hypocritical Quip

There are three Democrat congresscritters that pop into my head when I think about making a Hall of Shame list: California Rep. Eric Swalwell, Hawiaii Sen. Mazie Hirono, and Golden State Sen. Adam Schiff. The trio is mean-spirited, loose with the facts, and often uninformed. I cannot think of a single thing any one of them has done to improve the lives of Americans.

While Hirono can be comical with her ineptitude and Swalwell laughable with his faux-tough social takes and affair with a Chinese spy, it’s Schiff who’s been arguably the most damaging to our country. For years, he paraded around claiming he had rock-solid evidence that Trump colluded with Russia—yet he never produced it and was finally censured. As Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee in 2019, he spearheaded the idiotic first impeachment of Donald Trump over a phone call.

Sadly, California voters never seem to hold him to account, and he’s been rewarded for his endless gaslighting and pointless investigations with a Senate seat.

On Sunday, he appeared on “Meet the Press” and did what he usually does: get slippery when someone asks him a real question. Host Kristen Welker asked what at first appeared to be a hard-hitting question:

WELKER: I do want to ask you about the Democratic Party. There's a new book out by Chris Whipple who reports that in the days before President Biden's devastating debate performance with President Trump, his first chief of staff, Ron Klain, returned to help him prep. Klain reports that he was surprised by the fact that he thought that President Biden was struggling to focus. He said he seemed confused about President Trump's policies, and even fell asleep by the pool after cutting one debate prep session short. Do you think that former President Biden's advisors misled the American people about his capacities?

SEN. ADAM SCHIFF: You know, it's hard for me to gauge what the closest advisors to the president were seeing at the time. I can only speak to the interactions that I had with him, which were, you know, in the months leading up to his getting out of the race, largely ceremonial occasions. But, you know, I will say this. He made the decision to get out of the race. I think that was the right decision.

He simply ignored the question and then quickly moved onto subjects she hadn’t asked him about. You’d expect that from the truth-challenged senator, but surely Welker followed up and pointed out that he never answered her query? Heck no, she too just moved on too like nothing happened.

It’s this type of garbage, folks, that makes the mainstream media less trustworthy than your local loan shark.

But wait, there’s more: Schiff, in quite the lather over Trump’s tariffs, thought this hypocritical potshot would make a good soundbite:

SCHIFF: And there he is out on the golf course. That may end up being the most enduring image of the Trump presidency, that is, the president out on a golf cart while people's retirement is in flames.

Note to Mr. Schiff:

Meanwhile, did you call this out while Bidenflation was nuking our buying power, Adam? I sure don’t remember that.
