I was on “RedState Radio” Friday with our inestimable Deputy Managing Editor Susie Moore, and I remarked just how far the country has come in such a short time
If you had told me four years ago that today, after the January 2021 inauguration of Joe Biden and his ensuing disastrous rule, we would be watching President Trump transform the county and that there would a GOP majorities in both the House and Senate, I would have told you to seek the help of a psychiatrist.
But it’s truly been an American resurgence—one that will hopefully last for years to come.
We came this close to losing the country, possibly forever. Democrats ruled the roost and threw down insane progressive policy after insane policy, and Biden sent the hounds of the Department of Justice after Trump and vowed to put him behind bars. Government censorship was rampant, and you could lose your job and much more if you said something the Overlords didn’t like. DEI became the number one priority as affordable energy, inflation, our military, and the security of our border were thrown out the window.
RedState and other Townhall sites were severely affected as Big Tech bent the knee to the stunning anti-First Amendment efforts of Joe Biden and Co. We were censored, throttled—you name it.
That’s one of the reasons we created our VIP program and why we were able to survive. Their successes on the border, on getting rid of DEI in the federal government, on men in women’s sports, and so much more seem to come in on a daily basis.
It’s been an incredible victory, and conservative media like RedState played a huge role.
But the war is not over. Just like Trump pulled off the greatest political comeback in history, the radical Democrats could one day get off the mat and regain some of their former power. Unbelievably, despite the Biden-Harris epic failure theater, 75 million voted for Kamala to become president in November. We dodged a bullet. If she had won, I don’t know if the country could ever recover because virtually everything under Democrat rule was taking the USA in the wrong direction.
