Border Czar Tom Homan—or as my colleague Ward Clark likes to call him, Tom “the Hammer” Homan—is the latest to weigh in on Chief U.S. District Judge James Boasberg’s temporary restraining order preventing the deportation of any Venezuelans and calling for the plane carrying some 250 gangbangers to El Salvador to turn around. As we reported, Team Trump did not comply and those criminals are now in El Salvadoran mega-prison.

Homan blasted the “radical” judge in an appearance on Fox News Monday:

"Who in their right mind, whether you're a judge or not, wants [to allow] TDA [Tren de Aragua], a recognized terrorist organization sent here by the Maduro regime, to create havoc, to unsettle the United States through the use of fentanyl to kill thousands of Americans, violence to American citizens, raping and murdering young women in this country…?" Homan asked Monday on "Fox & Friends."

"President Trump is going to make this country safe again. He's going to do it. One illegal alien at a time."

Homan argued that the administration was well within its rights in tossing out criminal illegals:

He also argued Trump has the "right" to invoke the authorities of the Alien Enemies Act to apprehend members of violent illegal immigrant gangs like Tren de Aragua and MS-13.

"The actions of President Trump made this country safer… that's what American voters voted for. That's our mandate, and the president is keeping his promise," he said.

Homan said the flight, which landed in El Salvador, was already in international waters when the ruling was issued.

"What a beautiful thing to see," said Homan about the flight reaching its destination, calling the use of the wartime law a "game-changer" for authorities.

The White House sent out an official email Monday and said Trump was bringing “justice” with his actions:

This bold, necessary action was immediately heralded by administration officials, members of Congress, and the American people:

Vice President JD Vance: “There were violent criminals and rapists in our country. Democrats fought to keep them here. President Trump deported them.”

The email continued with statements from a variety of figures like Secretary of State Marco Rubio and prominent GOP senators. They also linked to this post by Homan:

But now, thanks to the American people, we have President Trump! Last night, 238 Tren de Aragua members along with 21 MS13 gang members, were deported from this country adding to the thousands of criminal aliens already deported. 

All in all, I’d say Homan is doing a lot better job as border czar than his predecessor, Kamala Harris.
