In most contests, there’s a winner and a loser. The Super Bowl victor heads off to parades and White House appearances, the loser flies home on a very sad jet and all the accomplishments that got them so far are at least temporarily forgotten.
The same is true in politics; the vanquished candidate in a presidential election often never rises to such levels again (it’s only in California where pols are rewarded for failing). The biggest losers in the '24 election are obviously Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, but who and what else was defeated by the 77,256,496 voters who voted for Trump?
Turns out the list is long. Let’s examine at least some of them, shall we?
Liz Cheney
We’ll start with our favorite (figurative) punching bag, former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney and her loathsome cohorts, now Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and former Illinois Dem Rep. Adam Cryin’ Kinzinger (R). The three headed up a Soviet-style star trial, the Hollywood-produced reality-free production called “The J6 Committee,” where there was no cross-examination and no actual Republican representation.

Virtually nobody likes Cheney or Kinzinger anymore; neither is in office, and their opinions and gaslighting have proven to be utterly useless. Adam Schiff somehow failed upward—that’s the California way—but in a highly satisfactory moment, DNI nominee John Ratcliffe absolutely nuked him in his Wednesday confirmation hearings, a delicious moment reported by RedState’s Bonchie.

There was a time when our smooth-talking president could do no wrong, but now his reputation and his legacy are pretty much shot as he is largely responsible for foisting Joe Biden and, consequently, Kamala Harris on us. He seems to have lost his magical rhetorical tongue, and even former acolytes are like, “What the hay?” Extra points for his wife Michelle’s continued pouting and refusing to attend Carter’s funeral or Trump’s inauguration.

Merrick Garland and his Banana Republic lawfare regime.
As virtually all of the weaponized cases the Department of Justice has brought against Donald Trump since he left office in 2021 go down in flames, Attorney General Merrick Garland and his attack dog Special Counsel Jack Smith come off looking like the banana republic extremists they are. Their reputations will never recover, and nor should they, as they brought shame on our formerly respected legal institutions. Eat crow, eat lots of it, because you failed this country and lost all sense of honor and legitimacy with your zealotry.

True, Avenatti's goose was cooked long before this election, but he’s still a casualty of selling his soul just to get in on the Never Trump craze.
Meanwhile, groveling former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen spends his time on MSNBC begging Biden for a pardon like the one that the (thankfully oh so close to being out of office) president gave his son Hunter. Good luck with that one, pal.
Verdict: No prize. These two don’t even deserve a trophy in the Losers’ Contest.

They lied. For four years. About everything—Russia collusion, the effectiveness of the COVID vaccines, Joe Biden’s mental decline, “transitory inflation,” the government-Big Tech censorship collusion—the list goes on (and on). MSNBC is the worst actor, with their race-baiting, America-hating hosts, but the alphabet news networks and the formerly storied publications like the New York Times, LA Times, and Washington Post have so thoroughly sullied their reputations that it’s highly questionable whether they can ever recover.
