Kamala Harris has returned from the $7 million dollar house she stayed at during her Hawaiian vacation, and now that she's rested up, she sat for the camera to deliver a pointless word salad that doesn’t really say anything meaningful. Either the lighting was bad, or she didn’t actually get all that much rest because she looked strained and fatigued. Her tone was somber even as she was presumably trying to deliver an uplifting message.
It can’t be fun getting roundly trounced in an election, I’ll give her that. Still, since it’s been three weeks since the vote, you’d think she or someone on her staff could have crafted a better message than this mindless drivel. Her delivery was not concise, shall we say, and it seemed like she just kept repeating, "Don’t ever let anybody take your power from you”:

I JUST have to remind you—don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5th.
And you have the same purpose that you did.
And you have the same ability to engage and inspire, so don't ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you.
What does that even mean? That Donald Trump is going to “take your power?” How and why? The only people who took my power were the Biden-Harris administration and my blue state nightmare governor Gavin Newsom during COVID.
She also continues to do that thing where she acts as if she's delivering something deep and powerful—when the words are anything but.
The internet wasn’t kind. Many asked variations of this question:
Have you been drinking?

You lost.

Go away.
Kamala Harris does indeed have the same power as before the election, that’s because she lost

It might seem in poor taste to mock someone who just suffered a terrible defeat. The reality, however, is this woman has been second in command of one of the most divisive, harmful administrations in history. Meanwhile, she lied to us for years about Joe Biden's declining mental health. That put the whole country in danger (and we remain so until January 20).
Additionally, she is reportedly considering another run for the Oval Office in 2028 or a campaign to be California's next governor in 2026. As long as she's on the field, it's fair to play ball.
Will Kamala Harris Try Again in 2028?
The Question: Where in the World Is Kamala Harris? The Answer: On a Tropical Vacation
If Harris were to run for office again, she'd need to improve her political and speaking skills—a lot. This is certainly not an auspicious start.
