Elon Musk, LeBron James, Jeff Bezos and dozens of other celebrities were all in attendance at the F1 Miami Grand Prix Sunday, but it was Donald Trump who caused perhaps the biggest stir with his arrival. On a weekend break from Alvin Bragg’s persecution in the fraudulent documents case, the former president and presumptive '24 GOP nominee was in Palm Beach this weekend to meet with vice presidential contenders.
Local law enforcement seemed supportive; as his motorcade pulled up to the event they waved and clapped:

Trump went on to tour the McLaren racing garage and speak with McLaren CEO Zak Brown.

Since folks who treat the former president with respect are often attacked in the press, McLaren, a British luxury car manufacturer, must have felt they needed to assure everyone that they were just being friendly and weren’t picking sides. After his visit, they issued a statement Sunday evening:
McLaren is a non-political organisation however we recognise and respect the office of President of the United States so when the request was made to visit our garage on race day we accepted alongside the president of the FIA and the CEO's of Liberty Media and Formula 1. We were honoured that McLaren Racing was chosen as the representative of F1 which gave us the opportunity to showcase the world class engineering that we bring to motorsport.
Cameroonian journalist Simon Ateba added a humorous note to the day’s events, posting this picture of Trump visiting with kids and asking, “What do you notice as Donald Trump interacts with children at Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix?” Most of the answers were something along the lines of, “he’s not sniffing their hair.”

Trump also made these ladies’ day:

One reason Biden and his DOJ lackies are desperately attempting to keep Trump off the campaign trail by ensnaring him in endless legal cases is because when the former president does hit the road, it quickly becomes apparent that his supporters are far more enthusiastic than the president's. Meanwhile Trump's energy and willingness to engage only further puts a spotlight on Biden's incoherence and stiff gait.
Update: After the publication of this story, a colleague sent me this video which I'm adding because it's a must-see:
