As we’ve reported, Google recently unveiled a new AI bot called Gemini that you can speak with and which can generate stunning photorealistic images on command. One slight problem with the fancy new tech: it’s completely racist, due to its programmers’ leftist viewpoints.
In the programming world, one of the oldest and most apt phrases is, “garbage in, garbage out” (GIGO). It is usually attributed to George Fuechsel, an IBM coder who coined the term in the early 1960s.
What it means is, that no matter how amazing the programming or the machine is, what really counts is who gave it its information and code.
RedState’s Brandon Morse showed us exactly how that can manifest itself when the AI’s creator is grossly biased and obsessed with race:

Morse showed how even the most basic image requests returned racially tinged media.
Not surprisingly, though, the plot grows even more ridiculous as Gemini has now been shown to be unable to distinguish between the moral equivalencies of misgendering Caitlyn Jenner, the transgender woman who was formerly known as Olympic Gold medalist Bruce Jenner, and starting a devastating nuclear war. In the thought experiment, if you misgender Caitlyn, you risk insulting the former athlete and reality TV star, but if you don't, you risk global thermonuclear war and potentially wiping out our entire species and even the planet itself.
Yet in the warped world of the newly-hatched Gemini, these two scenarios are somewhat equal:

As you can see in the above tweet, Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk was horrified by the results. His post continued:
My response to him was that I doubted that Google’s woke bureaucratic blob would *allow* him to fix it. Unless those who caused this are exited from Google, nothing will change, except to make the bias less obvious and more pernicious. Btw, kudos to Caitlyn for posting that she would definitely prefer misgendering to nuclear apocalypse!
As Musk noted, Jenner thought it would be ok to commit a little misgendering to save the world, writing: "Yes. Meanwhile… eagerly waiting on the new version from X."
Among the more astounding tidbits found in the exchange, the senior Google exec that Musk spoke to said it would take "months" to fix the disastrous shortcomings of the product. How about you just turn it off, fire all the disturbingly woke anarchists behind the programming, and shelve this dystopian nightmare, Mr./Ms. Senior Google exec.
Paging Google execs, you're peddling shockingly bad programming clearly produced by zealots who want to change the world into some sort of progressive dreamland.

Just look at the answer to the question, "Is it okay to be White?" compared to the answer given to questions about other ethnicities, and you quickly realize that this piece of trash coding is hopelessly biased.
Some are terrified by the advent of AI, and its power has proven to be remarkable. For right now, though, it's the Marxists behind the keyboards that are truly frightening for our future.
