Joe Biden’s approval rating has plummeted to a lower level than any of his seven predecessors at a similar point in their first term. Meanwhile, the Biden admin's manufactured crisis at the border rages on unabated as close to 300,000 people a month are now attempting to gain illegal entry into the U.S. every month.
What’s a leader to do? Well, if you’re Joe Biden, you do what you seemingly always do – go on vacation.
The president gets away from the White House as often as humanly possible, spending dozens of weekends at his homes in Delaware or at Camp David or at billionaires' houses in Nantucket or Lake Tahoe. Although he takes extreme positions on climate change and wants to ban or make much more expensive virtually every household appliance that makes your life more convenient, he doesn’t hesitate to fire up Air Force One and massive gas-guzzling motorcades for just one more day at the Rehoboth Beach.
In fact, he’s spent more than 40 percent of his time outside the White House, according to the RNC. Granted, some of those nights away may include state trips, but those only represent a fraction of the time he’s away.
Joe Biden has spent more than 410 days on vacation since he took office, a higher pace than any modern president.

He also does fewer interviews, fewer press conferences, and even takes the short stairs onto Air Force One.

Last Christmas, the president also dropped into St. Croix, even as a massive snowstorm hit the Buffalo, New York area, leaving 37 dead. Biden was enjoying a three-bedroom mansion courtesy of yet another benefactor:
Last year, he and his family stayed free of charge at the multimillion-dollar beachfront villa of wealthy donors Bill and Connie Neville — who gave more than $10,000 to Biden’s 2020 campaign and were among the select group admitted to the president’s first White House state dinner.
The illegal border crossers are not taking a vacation, though -- they’re continuing to pour in:
🚨 BREAKING: 242,418 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in November — the highest number EVER recorded for the month.

Administration officials like White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre keep trying to tell us they care -- so much -- yet their actions have proved that they want it this way.
"Where does immigration fall on President Biden’s to-do list?"

KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: "The president has taken this very, very seriously."

On Thursday, her explanations regarding the administration's border policy bordered on the ludicrous:

I don't begrudge a man some vacation time, even the president of the United States, but it feels like Biden is permanently on leisure hours. I'd guess he's taken more vacation days in his tenure than I have in the last decade or more.
At least we can hope he'll do less damage to the country by sitting on the beach than he would if he were at the White House making more disastrous decisions.
