I have shared with RedState readers on several occasions my previous life in healthcare, more specifically as a Pharmacy Technician. While Techs don't usually get as up close and personal with patients as physicians and nurses, we see the people who do. I have been blessed that fellow healthcare workers have been among those whom I have called my closest friends. Maybe it is proof of just how much times and people have changed, but I could not fathom any of these people doing what people who now call themselves "healers" have done on that world stage known as social media.
In the wake of the ongoing ICE operations in Minneapolis and the shooting deaths of Renee Good and, most recently, Alex Pretti, some of the most heinous and inhumane reactions to these events have come from the very people charged with caring for people, regardless of who they are. It serves as a stark warning if you are a conservative and support ICE.
We can start on the tame side. Dr. Kristin Lyerly is an OB-GYN. From that, we could reasonably assume that she would not come in contact with ICE agents, the majority of whom appear to be male, unless their wives were going into labor. But that is not stopping Dr. Lyerly from putting the word out about where ICE agents might be staying in Milwaukee.

Then there is Registered Nurse Amanda Valentine, who asks that you forgive her because she is not very good at hiding her facial expressions and says that it may be a liability and cause her to get fired if she has to tell ICE to "f**k off."

At this point, you might be saying, "Gee, Becky, these are just your garden variety leftists posting stupid stuff on social media. What's the big deal?"
That is just the warm-up. Here... is the big deal, and you can bet there are plenty more out there just like them. Meet Erik Martindale, RN. He is a Registered Nurse in Florida. Erik is here to prove that it's not just ICE agents who have driven these healthcare workers to insanity, but Republicans in general and MAGA supporters specifically. As you read Martindale's social media post, keep in mind that he is responsible for you while you are under anesthesia.

But the queen of this sickness, and no doubt the most dangerous, has to be Malinda Cook, CRNA at VCU Medical Center, Richmond. I'll let Malinda speak for herself, also in some spicy language. Want to know what succinylcholine is? I will let Dr. Kelly Victory, MD, fill you in.
