The Democrat Party - Where the Customer Is Always Wrong

For many of us, some of our first jobs are in the retail industry. On a practical level, learning to deal with other people, especially if they are being difficult or just plain rude, while you have to keep your cool, is a vital life skill to have. My own experience was as a cashier in a drug store, and later as a pharmacy technician in that same location. You quickly learn for yourself that your customers will run the entire spectrum of human behavior. You have your favorites, the ones who will always make your day, then there are the others. Management will always have a way of reminding you of that old retail adage, "the customer is always right."

Many people will point out the cold, hard truth: America is a business. And if America is a business, the voters are the "customers." But for the purposes of this discussion, one portion of the nation's "management," a.k.a. elected Democrat lawmakers, is operating under an entirely different premise: the customer is always wrong.

On November 5, the American people spoke loudly. They gave President Donald Trump a resounding mandate. He won the electoral college, and he won the popular vote. For the Democrats in the back of the room, that means that they voted for Trump because they agreed with him. They wanted him to do the things he campaigned on. Whether you like that or not, that is what it means. But Democrats can never seem to fathom that anyone would disagree with their ideas. So, they assume the customer is wrong and act accordingly.

Let's take the issue of immigration. My colleague Sister Toldjah recently reported on a new CBS poll that shows by a 12-point margin, Americans agree with Trump's policy on deporting illegal immigrants, with 56 percent approving and 44 percent disapproving. They know the havoc illegal immigration has caused in places like public education and emergency rooms, not to mention the countless number of illegal immigrant criminals in the country who have committed crimes, including murder, against American citizens. Americans want them out, but Democrats say no. They are going to the mat for people like Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 gang member and wife-beater who was deported, and they are now camped out in his native El Salvador trying to get him returned to the U.S. They will stop at nothing to keep as many illegal immigrants in the country. In other words, the customer is wrong.

Another issue where Democrats have no problem telling the customers they are wrong is voter ID. Nearly 50 countries around the world have some form of voter ID. A whopping 84 percent of Americans say there should be a requirement to show a photo ID to vote. Almost just as many, 83 percent, say proof of citizenship should also be required to vote. In the U.S., an ID is required to purchase liquor, buy a firearm, buy a house or car, get on a plane; the list is endless, so why not for something as important as voting? Oh no, say Democrats. That's wrong, having to show an ID is...wait for it...racist. They cite recently changed election laws in Georgia, where Democrats would like you to believe that it is still 1956 for minority residents. Unfortunately for Democrats, numbers don't lie. More Georgians turned out for November's presidential election than ever before. Once again, an overwhelming majority of voters are in favor of voter ID, but Democrats' reply to that is that they will continue fighting voter ID because the customer is wrong.

Still another issue where Democrats are more than willing to ignore the customer is biological men playing in women's sports. The majority of Americans, 79 percent of them, are opposed to this. To be fair, even a portion of Democrats are against this as well. Even after transitioning, males are still taller, have more lean body and muscle mass, greater muscle strength, larger heart and lungs, a higher maximal oxygen consumption, and stronger bones than biological females. The physical advantages also make this extremely dangerous for women. The story of North Carolina volleyball player Payton McNabb is well known. A transgender player on an opposing team spiked the ball so hard into McNabb's face that she suffered a traumatic brain injury and partial paralysis on her right side. Female athletes are forced to change in locker rooms in front of men and lose out on scholarship opportunities. Girls and women lose out all around. But none of this matters to Democrats. Because of their simplistic belief that "transwomen are women," they are insistent that your daughters endure this. Once again, the customer (voters/parents) is wrong.

How long will Democrats get away with employing the "the customer is always wrong" strategy before the customers start looking elsewhere? That's already happening. Donald Trump's massive win is proof of that. But Democrats will continue to force their ideas down the throats of the American people. It's what you do when you live by the idea that the customer is always wrong.
